Ulrika
was born 1983 in
Landvetter, Sweden. She spent high school concentrating on acting,
participated in several different plays, and even applied for the National
Academy
of Mime and Acting. During these
school-years Ulrika, in addition to
acting, studied other aesthetical subjects, such as art (including
life-drawing), textile handicraft and music. |

After
working a year, alternating teaching and caring for
mentally challenged
children, Ulrika moved to Linköping. There she studied
Cultural
Sciences
at the university.
Her major interests being in the fields of History of Art and
Philosophy. |

Whilst
studying
in
Linköping her confidence as an artist grew, and with that her
determination and desire of working as an professional artist. She
joined an evening class in oil painting and exhibited frequently at a
café called Myran. |

In
the autumn of 2005 Ulrika moved to Malmö in the south of
Sweden. A year later she began studying painting at Östra
Grevie
Folkhögskola, focusing completely on her works of
art. |

Ulrika is currently a BA student at Valand School of Fine Arts in Gothenburg, Sweden. |
